Ana Mota is a founder of Voces News a Spanish newspaper in Dallas, Texas. In addition, Ms. Mota currently work for Expedia Inc, as a Market Manager, she joined Expedia in November 2007. Ms. Mota has had a distinguished leadership career in the Hospitality Industry. Prior to joining Expedia, Ms. Mota served as a Corporate Revenue Analyst for Hilton Hotels Corporation at the Revenue Consolidate Hotel Center. Ms. Mota was promoted to the Analyst position after working for over two years at the Waldorf=Astoria in New York City.
Prior to joining the Waldorf=Astoria, Ms. Mota served as Front Desk Manager at the New Yorker Hotel for seven years, responsible for Front Office operations including PBX and Front Service.
Before joining the New Yorker Hotel, Ms. Mota worked in the Dominican Republic for three years at the Ahmsa Marina Hotel chain as Rooms Division Manager, a promotion from her previously held position of Front Office and Guest Service Manager. Additionally, she worked at Casa de Campo for three years as a Guest Service Agent. Ms. Mota launched her hospitality career organizing day cruises from La Romana to Catalina Island. This was the first time a day cruise product was brought to the local market.
Ms. Mota holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Tourism from Central East University (Universidad Central del Este, UCE) in the Dominican Republic. She also has a Master of Science in Hospitality Industry Studies with a concentration in Revenue Management and Strategic Market from New York University.
