Hello Ana....I am a new member and look forward to networking with other local members. Good luck when you graduate! Let me know if you consider a position in sales. I'm looking to add 2-3 new agents in your area. I Look forward to meeting you soon.
I was borned and raised in Honduras. Grow up with my grandma and I think that really sets me apart from the rest of the people. I moved here in 2001 with my mom and little sis. I've been going to school since that year ((part time , of course)) And finally I'm graduating this May!!!!! Yuppi Yuppi!! I'm getting a BA. in Operations Management from UTA.
what is your current, past or ideal job title?
I've had so many different jobs!
Back in Honduras I was going to school to become a civil engineer ((following my uncles steps)) so I was their assistant for a little bit.
Then I moved here and I've worked in Engineering dept, Accounts Payable, Purchasing and Planning!!
My last job is the one that I really really liked ((to bad they laid me off!!!))
I was the assistant to the director of manufacturing for a fairly small company, and in this position I had the opportunity to use all my experience from previous positions in my everyday work.
I enjoyed seeing the big picture of the business, from getting the order from the customer, checking material availability, scheduling work orders, talking to shop floor supervisor, dealing with shipping/receiving etc etc... I definetely belong in Operations! Forget Marketing :P
