Profile Information

about me
Classical Realist Artist and anatomist Alex Loza is always searching for creative and innovating ways to communicate with people around the world. It's in realistic representational art that Loza has found his medium of communication.

With over a decade of experience serving numerous clients internationally as well as conducting private classes and community workshops in the United States, Loza has developed an excellent reputation amongst art collectors and art students.

He values and shares with others, especially the novice artists, the importance of having a keen knowledge and mastery of the methods and tools used by the Old Masters and the European Ateliers; also known as the Atelier Method. He believes that classical training should be available to everyone, everywhere.

Loza devotes countless hours managing his thoughts in regards of the subject matter, the scale at which it will be presented, his search for understanding what he observes, and his effort to constantly learn to document reality with a naturalistic, representational painting technique. When he is not creating nor conducting workshops you can always find him studying and doing research on subjects that will help him improve his craftsmanship.

Artist Alex Loza has become a favored instructor at Chattanooga's Art Creations, offering classes for the novice and intermediate artists. In 2011 he founded LOZA STUDIO & ATELIER, it's primary objective is to equip each student with a solid foundation of knowledge in all disciplines upon which they can develop the building blocks of their artistic future.
