I am a graduate student in the Master of Science in Social Work Program at Columbia University. Prior to starting my graduate studies, I worked at a community college in California for four years where I coordinated activities and academic workshops for incoming students. For over ten years, I have volunteered for mentoring, educational, and health related programs to address the needs of disadvantaged communities. I hold a BA degree in Sociology from the University of California, Davis, as well as an AA degree in Liberal Studies summa cum laude from Chabot College.
