good evening group, I have not been here in a good while, wanted to stop by and say hello!! I just started taking Zumba and various classes to get myself back in shape, well tone and definition wise. I workout at Lifetime Fitness in Colleyville and Austin areas. I also train with personal trainer Frank "THE TANK" DeLeon, you can find him on Facebook under Tank DeLeon or his personal page- personal trainer Tank DeLeon, I highly recommend him if you want a kick a** workout in the Dallas and surrounding areas. Happy Training everyone!! ;-)

I am a triathlete and Yoga has been instrumental in allowing my to recover after hours of hard training.  It is wonderfully rejuvenating and humbling at the same time.

Michelle:

Yoga is "great"!  A wonderful way to utilize the body and spirit.  Check out the new group:  Sprit ~ Body ~ Nutrition.  Your insight on Yoga will be greatly appreciated!

Sincerely,

Ed

I just started incorporating Yoga into my hectic workout routines and I love love love it!! I feel so calm and strong all at the same time! However, its not for the weak spirited. What a challenge!! But a fun one!

Corrine: The muscles in between your ribs are delicate and do take time to heal. Its like the back, you feel it in almost all you do. Take your time, do things that don't directly hit your core right now, ie legs, arms, etc.... Within a month or two, you should be able to start working the core, but very slowly. The doc is right, does not make sence to do xray, just RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation).
Glad to see you joined us, please keep us informed and if you need more detailed info about anything, just ask, we have a great and very caring group here!

I had a rib fracture in August 2010, now it's November. My Dr says not to worry it takes time. My question is how do I know the rib is healed in place without xray. My dr says I don't need one. Anyone out there with same problem
