I think it is great that Latinos are looking to get more healthcare related jobs. I am part of the Latin community in Boston and I have completed my education and have held several medical assistant jobs. I am a firm supporter of the Latinos in the healthcare industry population and hope that we continue to grow!

I work with the uninsured (or underinsured) in Los Angeles. There is an enormous need for Spanish-speaking professionals who can help people navigate the health care system. Latinos need to push for health by assisting those around them on this topic, especially when language is a barrier.

I am a student Medical Assistant and 1 month to go before my externship! I am glad to be able to go up a higher step on my education and join the Healthcare force!!
I graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts in Management and unfortunately haven't been able to find a job and that's the reason why I decided to extend my knowledge to the Healthcare field!! Kudos to all Doctors, Nurses and everyone on the Healthcare Field!!
