Introduction
Hello everyone.
My name is Carlos De Souza and I have been a member of the NSHP network for several months but had yet to introduce myself. I was born and raised early on in Caracas, Venezuela. My family moved to Miami where I spent most of my school years. I have lived in Venezuela, Mexico, East and West Coast of the US, spent a little time in Europe and I have been in Virginia for the last nine years.
I have always worked in the restaurant/bar industry. I am currently the Food & Beverage Director at the National Gallery of Art in DC for Restaurant Associates. I have worked worked for mom & pop restaurants, mid to large size corporate chains and even co-owned a cafe in Miami.
I am interested in getting more involved in the area with other Hispanic professionals.
