Hi everybody,
I'm new here. I live south of DC. I work for DoD, DoN, USMC down at Quantico MCB.
I'm a Management Assistant to TECOM, G1, Civilian Affairs/Military Affairs, Manpower. I help people get jobs for the USMC, but for right now were on a hiring freeze because of the DoD budget cut.
I moved here from Illinois to Virginia, been here for 2 years. Willing to meet some new people.
Comment by Lorraine Delgado on August 3, 2011 at 7:59am Hola Washington DC Groupo.
NSHP has been a great tool for many areas and the Job Fairs are great but I am still looking for a full time opportunity.
I too am an IT professional with a BS in Information Systems and 5 certifications (MCP, A+, Net+, CNA, & CISSP) and 10 years experience. I currently work a part time contract for a Xerox reseller as a Network/System Analyst but as this economy worsens my need for full time employment increases.
If any one has ideas, opportunities, or knows someone that knows someone, please email me at lorraine.delgado@ymail.com.
Gracias.
