LifeSource is Chicagoland's Blood Center - a non-profit organization and the primary resource for blood collection and transfusion medicine services in the greater Chicagoland area.
The Account Manager works to support the region sales team in the identification and development of new accounts at designated target organizations within an assigned territory. Their objective is to solicit organizations (Example: corporations, schools, churches) to host mobile blood drives at their locations. The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining as well as growing their existing accounts by building strong customer relationships and working closely with them to increase unit collections at each blood drive. The Account Manager is actively involved in the creation of successful recruitment programs/strategies that will lead to success in the achievement of territory collection goals.
Requirements for this position include two years field sales experience. A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred. Bilingual Spanish. Skills associated to success in this position include creativity, personal management and time management, highly efficient organization skills, self-motivation and comfort working independently while managing several projects at once. It is important for candidates to have an affinity to working cooperatively with other departments in order to execute smooth operations
