Hello Chicago! An innovative web based financial consumer lending company in Downtown Chicago has several openings in their call center for the following positions: sales, customer service, loan processing and collections. We are looking for energetic, willing to learn individuals with experience in Banking, same day loan processing, first party collectors, recent college graduates, retail customer service. Bilingual in Spanish is helpful but not required. Must be flexible to work any shift and days of the week, since the call center is open 24/7 and the company services 3 other countries aside of the US. Send me an Inbox message for instructions on how to apply.

I just moved here from DC and found this group.  Attended the LatPro job fair today.  It was pretty good...

Does this group have any networking events?  If not, i have some experience in event planning.  Would you be interested networking events? What other kinds of events would you be interested in? How much would you be willing to pay, if anything? It would be great to get a discussion going, but you can also message me directly.  Check me out on Linkedin.

#MelissaLara, that sounds great. If I can get there on my way home from work today, I will and will bring something with.

Though I'm in the Bay Area, I could be of assistance in marketing and film.  Atomiczilla

Hedging Your Risk: Are Short-Term Leases the Answer?

Beyond lowering your rental payments, signing a lease for a new location may prompt your business to sign a short term lease. This is defined as a lease typically less than 3 years.

While we agree that there are some cases where a short term lease may be more advantageous and inline with your business strategy, there are some disadvantages that you should consider.

- The inability to fix rental costs for longer periods and exposure to higher rents in the future (even with a renewal option)
- Short-term leases typically equate to less negotiation leverage and less landlord concessions
- If you need significant improvements done to the space, with a short term lease, expect to be paying for that yourself.

There are more advantages/disadvantages based upon your business and location, but these are a few things you should consider.

Have additional questions on how to lower your risk in your specific situation? Email me edgar@jbscre.com
