TITLE: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

ORGANIZATION: National Nonprofit Foundation

STATUS: Exempt, Full-Time
Reports to President/ Chief Executive Officer

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for all segments of the accounting functions for the Foundation. Responsible for accounting controls, budget, and financial reporting to satisfy informational requirements for the President/Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors, agency management and funding agencies. Participates in upper level management activities, meetings, planning sessions as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum CPA, (MBA) Masters of Business Administration, preferably in a nonprofit organization with a budget of at least $100 million.
• Five years experience in Accounting or related field, including two years in a managerial capacity.
• Non-profit experience with knowledge of public and private funding streams a plus.
• Strong accounting, managerial and leadership skills.
• Strong computer experience in accounting and spreadsheet applications required; MIP accounting software.
• Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain cooperative, diplomatic working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and the public; work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues; and complete projects under tight deadlines even when there are competing requirements and changes in assignments.
