Hispanic professional society & diversity job fairs at NSHP.org

Well, it didn't all go off as I'd hoped. A lot of Latinos didn't sign up for the conference and so I had to scale it down and change the idea in order to salvage it. I changed it to a multi-cultural poets and writers event, and it worked out much better as far as drawing more people to participate and attend. The Keynote Speaker was none other than Judge Edwin Torres; author of "Carlito's Way." He and fellow guest speaker Louis Reyes Rivera rocked the house!

I hope to do it again next year, and I hope to attract more Latino participants and attendees if I get the chance to do it all again.

Arnaldo, it sounds like it went very well. You really brought in some big guns to speak! Wow! I'm so sorry I couldn't be there.

I'm behind in my emails because I got viral pneumonia, but I'm digging my way out now.

My news: two of my books have been chosen for Amazon's WorldReader program and my Friending Geronimo script's first draft has been accepted. Now, on to rewrites!

Hmmmm...maybe I would have healed faster if I'd stopped working when I was sick, ha!
