My husband and I are wanting to relocate from Clermont Florida to Atlanta, Ga. I am a spanish teacher here and my Husband works for News 13. He had an interview at Cnn and if the offer is good we would like to move but not sure if this is the correct move.
Anyone who lives there can you gives some advise about Atlanta, Ga and the hispanic population?
I see that you live in Clermont (My wife and I almost moved there 2 years ago now the RE market was dropped). I currently live in South FL but I am also looking to relo to ATL. We have a good amount of jobseekers in the Atlanta area that can help you.
Please let me know what timeframe you and your husband are looking to move there.
We have been in Clermont for 4 years and trying to grow as professionals has been very tough. We are flexible, and we are seeking employment in education and television markets.
We appreciate any contacts or information offered.
Angie, I just wanted to suggest you maybe pop in to the Atlanta and Beyond group. There are 10 members there from the Atlanta area who may be able to help. http://network.nshp.org/group/atlantachapter
Hi!
Atlanta is a great city, you'll find anything you want from restaurants to schools to parks. The latino population is quite large and for what I've heard there is always a need for Spanish teachers. I've lived here for 3.5 years and enjoyed it very much, however just like in any other big city traffic is terrible and conmuting times are among the longest in the US.
