Edgar A. Morales Jr., Founder, CEO, Strategic Diversity Solutions, LLC.
Strategic Diversity Solutions is a New York City-based firm dedicated to developing strategic and tactical solutions to empower corporate, small business, and nonprofit clients who target Diverse and Women Market Segments to drive bottom line results. As founder and CEO, Mr. Morales’ unprecedented multicultural marketing and diversity sourcing experience, captured by his extensive subject matter expertise as a strategist, corporate leader, community champion and advocate, makes him highly sought after by Fortune 500 companies and nonprofit organizations throughout the United States. Prior to founding Strategic Diversity Solutions, Mr. Morales served in a variety of leadership positions within Prudential Financial for 29 years. In his most recent prior role with Prudential, he served as vice president, Diversity for Agency Distribution, where he transformed the distribution channel in both revenue and diverse hires by developing strategic partnerships between businesses, the community and nonprofit organizations. He currently serves as chair of the Corporate Advisory Board for the Women of Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting. He is chairman of The South Asian Business Association Network, where he was honored with the 2008 Chairman’s Award for continuous support to the South Asian Community. Mr. Morales is a current member and past chair of the LIMRA Diversity Committee; a member of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs; and a member of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting, where he serves as a Corporate Advisory Board member.

Arturo Duran, Chief Executive Officer, ImpreMedia Digital
Previously, Mr. Duran was president of Interactive and Business Integration for Canwest Mediaworks, and led the growth of online revenue to a record level and converted it into the largest Canadian News and Information Network, with more than 50 sites. Much of the revenue growth came from the launch of a suite of online classifieds that quickly grew to the largest in Canada (working.com, driving.ca, remembering.ca, renting.ca etc). Duran has a long and distinguished career in the online field. He previously served in executive roles at AOL including those of vice president, multicultural, for AOL Media Networks; VP marketing and interactive content for AOL Canada; and director, business development for AOL Mexico as member of the team that launched AOL Latin America. Prior to those appointments, Duran was the director of business development, Internet Division for the Polaroid Corporation.

ImpreMedia Digital was formed in 2007 as the interactive division of ImpreMedia, the leading Spanish-language news and information company in the United States. ImpreMedia Digital is on a fast, high-growth trajectory. With more than 2.1 million unique visitors every month, ImpreMedia Web sites attract Latino users who want to get the latest news throughout the day.

Juan Lopez-Valcarcel, Managing Director, The Digital Sunrise Group
Mr. Lopez-Valcarcel is an executive with more than 12 years experience as an entrepreneur, manager and advisor to media and telecom companies. He is currently the managing director for The Digital Sunrise Group, a new incubator and angel investment group for digital startups in New York and London. Previously, Mr. Lopez-Valcarcel was a VP in the Digital Media team at NBC Universal, and the general manager for iVillage.com, the leading online destination for women. iVillage Networks is part of NBC Universal's Women & Lifestyle Entertainment, a powerful combination of media assets that additionally includes Bravo Media and Oxygen Media. Before joining NBC Universal, Mr. Lopez-Valcarcel was an engagement manager at the strategy consulting firm, Booz Allen, where he worked on more than 40 media, telecoms and venture capital projects in Europe, the United States and Latin America. Mr. Lopez-Valcarcel holds a double degree in corporate law and economics from ICADE (Spain), and received an MBA from INSEAD (France).
