Results of a new national survey show widespread support for President Barack Obama’s job-creation proposal among Hispanics and their general lack of knowledge about candidates vying for the Republican presidential nomination.

The latest impreMedia/Latino Decisions survey found that 78 percent of Hispanic registered voters believe that Congress should pass Obama’s jobs bill.

“Latinos by ideology are in favor of government support for jobs,” University of Washington professor Matt Barreto, an adviser for Latino Decisions, said in a conference call to announce the results.

Interesting that while the article sites the President's approval rating among Latinos is only 30%, half still plan on voting for him.
